This, thanks to the development of green hydrogen and energy leadership, drove 68% growth in InvestChile's portfolio, generating more than 21,000 direct jobs.

InvestChile announced that its investment project portfolio reached US$56.234 billion in 2024, the highest figure since its inception.

This increase translates into a 68% growth compared to 2023, with a total of 474 projects in different stages of development and the potential creation of more than 21,000 direct jobs, according to the Ministry of Economy.

One of the main factors behind this growth is the development of the green hydrogen (H2V) industry, which contributed US$25.617 billion. This sector has been a strategic pillar for Chile, which seeks to position itself as a world leader in the production of this clean and sustainable fuel.
